Community Assistance Center (CAC) is excited to announce the first ever Strike Out Hunger Bowling Tournament benefiting CAC's Client Choice Food Pantry. The tournament will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 1 PM to 4 PM at Main Event The Woodlands. Proceeds from this friendly competition support the nutritional needs of our neighbors all across Montgomery County.

A critical focus for Community Assistance Center (CAC) in our efforts toward eliminating food insecurity in our community is through the CAC Client Choice Food Pantry. The Client Choice Food Pantry model not only allows clients the opportunity to choose their own food to fit their personal preferences and special dietary needs, but it also gives clients a sense of dignity and respect while reducing waste. Other food assistance services provided by CAC through our pantry include Mobile Market food distributions, Senior Grocery Delivery, CAC's Summer Stock- kids food pantry program, and holiday meal distributions. All food pantry assistance services are provided at no cost to our neighbors in need. On average, Community Assistance Center provides over one million pounds of much needed food assistance services each year to our neighbors in need.
